FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD!!!
Transportation
If you're flying in to LAX, you can catch the "Super Shuttle" to the hotel for $15 per person, or $58 for
an entire van (seats 7 people). The person I spoke to said the shuttle runs 24-hours a day, and if you're
flying into LAX, you don't need to make a reservation ... just look for the "people wearing blue" outside
by the curb and they'll take care of you. Presumably, they'll also have a desk inside somewhere. Here's
their website:
The hotel also said that if you have more than 2 people, but less than
7 (for the above discount), you might want to look into taking a Taxi
instead. Taxis tend to run in the $30-40 range, so hopefully you'll
be saving some money ... I'm guessing Taxis can take a maximum of 4
people though.
For reference, the hotel is about 13 miles away from LAX, and is located at:
Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel
7000 Hollywood Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90028-6099
323-466-7000
In case the driver doesn't know offhand.
Other options include special rates from Budget Rent a Car of Beverly Hills
(800-729-7350 ext 162 offer code 84RHC for preferred service), or riding the Metro Rail ($2.00).
